Technical Services
Straightening Treatments Policy
A consultation is required prior to booking a Smooth Straightening Treatment, to ensure hair suitability and clarify which treatment is best suited to your hair type. A 50% deposit is required upon booking any Straightening Treatment. This deposit is non-refundable on cancellation of the booking.
Please note Straightening Treatments cannot be booked online, please contact the salon on 01799 522749 / hairbyus@icloud.com.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. Clients who do not show up for their appointment without prior notice will be charged the full service fee.

Voucher Policy
Vouchers can be purchased direct from Hair By Us and are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, they cannot be extended. Vouchers can only be redeemed for services and not exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance will be returned in the form of another voucher for that amount.
Clothing
We kindly ask clients to wear clothes you are not too precious about to your appointment. In the unlikely event of colour getting onto your clothes, we cannot be held responsible for clothes worn.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse a booking or appointment for any reasons such as frequent cancellations, lateness, failure to follow or comply with our policies, or for any aggressive, harmful, or hurtful behaviour to our team or customers.
Complaints/Refund Policy
If you are unhappy with a service you received, please express these concerns before leaving the salon, and/or contact us within 3 days of your appointment. In the first instance of dissatisfaction the stylist will aim to rectify any concerns raised. If further dissatisfaction arises, please discuss this with your stylist or the salon owner to find a resolution.
